TDI Trimix Diver Course – Warrior Dive Adventure
Extend Your Depth Limits and Minimize Narcosis with Helium-Based Diving
Looking to dive deeper, explore historic wrecks, or penetrate cave systems? The TDI Trimix Diver Course at Warrior Dive Adventure is your next step in advanced technical training. Learn how to safely execute deep dives to a maximum depth of 60 metres (200 feet) using helium-enriched trimix blends—and reduce the debilitating effects of nitrogen narcosis at depth.
This course is ideal for divers seeking precision, safety, and clarity while exploring deep underwater environments that standard gas mixes just can't support.
Why Take the TDI Trimix Diver Course?
As your diving ambitions grow, so does your need for clarity and control in extreme conditions. One of the greatest challenges in deep diving is narcosis—but by adding helium to your breathing mix, you significantly reduce nitrogen load and improve awareness at depth.
This course teaches you how to:
Plan and execute dives using trimix blends with as little as 18% oxygen
Dive safely and confidently to 60 metres (200 feet)
Minimize narcosis for clearer thinking and improved performance
Use decompression strategies and redundant gas systems for staged dives
Advance toward more extreme environments like deep wrecks and caves
Who Should Enroll?
This course is for experienced technical divers who want to:
Explore deeper than 40 metres safely and efficiently
Reduce narcosis symptoms using helium-based gas blends
Extend their training toward CCR, advanced trimix, or expedition-level diving
Enter the world of deep wrecks, walls, and overhead cave systems
Course Prerequisites
To enroll in the TDI Trimix Diver Course, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Be certified as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver AND TDI Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent from a recognized agency)
Show proof of at least 100 logged dives, with 25 dives deeper than 30 metres
What You’ll Learn
The TDI Trimix Diver Course combines deep theory with real-world dive execution and planning. You’ll cover:
Gas Theory & Planning
Helium properties and trimix composition
Calculating equivalent narcotic depth (END)
Managing oxygen toxicity (CNS/OTU tracking)
Dive planning for deep, staged decompression
Redundant gas strategies and bailout planning
Equipment & Skills
Trimix gas blending theory
Dive computer setup for mixed gas
Advanced gas switching and decompression profiles
Emergency procedures at depth
Helium analyzer usage and gas verification techniques
